picture-15This year I want to make sure that ChurchCrunch can not only provide great theoretical advice for better online ministry performance but also provide the necessary infrastructure for understanding the idea of “performancing”.

Ministry Performancing is about making sure that ministry, especially from the online perspective, is running as well and as effectively as possible.  This deals with anything from the software platforms that you use and run, to hardware that powers the apps, to the staff that uses the software, and the overall end-user experience.  It deals with your classical forms of “marketing” and branding as well as any and all forms of communiction mediums often-times associated with online media.

Research is an invaluable tool for ministry online performancing.  Making sure not only how you are doing but the impact you’re making on the world wide web.

There’s a number of amazing resources out there but one of the ones that sit right up top on my hot-links is Dataopedia.com.

It is, essentially as one review calls it, a quantitative and qualitative metrics showcase:

Dataopedia hits all of the high points for Web metrics. Searching for a particular URL provides you with rankings from Google Page Rank, Alexa, Compete, and Quantcast, four of the primary sources I check on a regular basis. It also provides whois information, one of those most basic resources that always contains nuggets of interesting information.

In addition, one site calls it the one-stop shop.  I wouldn’t agree with that statement, but it’s pretty darn good.  Take it for a spin and see how and “what” you’re site is doing.
