Add a Random Bible Verse in Your Gmail Signature
Google recently introduced a new Labs feature called “Random Signature” and eBible.com has created a way for that signature to actually be a random bible verse.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Click on “Settings” in the top right of your GMAIL Screen.
2. Go to “Labs”.
3. Find “Random Signature” and then Enable it.
4. Go back to your “General” tab in Settings.
5. Enter this URL as seen below: http://ebible.com/api/random_signature?utm_source=random_signature&utm_medium=gmail

6. Save changes, then try composing a new message! It should look something like this:

Please note that it may take a few refreshes of your system and browser before the new random signature takes affect.
Very neat. Share the love.

This seems like it could get a little dangerous…

oh, it's always dangerous.
That was awesome. I've seen similar problems like that. Didn't Al Gore mess up like this too? I know I have.
Anyway, I really like the idea. I didn't know there even was a rotating signature in Gmail. Even if I don't go with the rotating Bible verses the way you said, I might use this in other ways. Thanks.

Is there a way to use this new feature to include random links to posts in my blog?
you know what, perhaps…!
Very cool. I'm wondering if there's a way to use a subset of the available verses, or, suggest your own for randomizing.
that would be pretty neat.
