Best Multi-Twitter Account Manager
At least it’s the best for today (until I find a new one tomorrow…)! Although I’ve already written about some other services, you need to check this one out as well.
BrightKit.com is rocking it and really you just have to test-drive this thing to understand how sweet it is.

Although many of you probably do not have more than one Twitter account, I firmly believe that ministry organizations will begin creating ones.
In fact, I already know that many church’s already have twitter accounts. But, the “church” isn’t managing it (because in-animate objects still can’t type in 140 chars or less… someone tell me when this is possible please!)… people are.

So how does a staffer manage both his own personal twitter account and the ministries? How does multiple staff manage 1 twitter account for the organization?
BrightKit may be your best shot out the gate. Just take a look at some of these cool screenshots and see how gosh-darn pretty it is.
In addition, you can add not only multiple accounts to manage but also multiple administrators… I would highly suggest creating an account NOW because additional accounts will apparently cost you some extra cash when they get out of BETA.
This means that you should tell your ministry team to either get a twitter account now (and a BrightKit account too) even while you’re still “praying” about it (teehee) and then after you pray about it and decide that you should probably rock the Twitter then you’ll save yourself some time and green because you’ve already set it all up…
Ok? Go.
Finally, they’ve got some cool developments… like stats! Everyone likes stats, right?

O.K. I signed up for BrightKit because I have 2 accounts. One for networking church/Christian connections – relationships are built at this acct. The other to monitor and occasionally chime in on Soc. Media, photography, cooking and other passions. This account is TOO eclectic for relationships – but great for news and I can occasionally help someone out.
BrightKit doesn’t seem to do anything EasyTweets doesn’t do. Schedule Tweets, manage two accounts etc. It looks to me that BrightKit is really for people who have 2 accounts or more and need mutiple Tweeters to same account. Do I have that right?
Chris,
Thanks for speed driving through it! It's not a perfect service, but nothing really is. But, for some it'll provide that much needed interface for managing a ministry account with multiple staff.
so… yes. you're on point. the question is whether you will use it…?
Another feature BrightKit has is monitoring click-throughs. These stats come from the ow.ly (URL shortener) links, which lets you know which kinds of messages are working for you, and which aren’t.
thanks Kate! glad to have someone "official" weigh in…!
No prob! Thanks for the post!
Any more questions, just throw 'em my way
we will…!
