ChurchCrunch Breaks 3k RSS Subscribers: Things App Giveaway! And… Netbooks…?

Posted by John Saddington on Jan 22, 2010

Yay.

ChurchCrunch busted through the 3,000 RSS Subscriber count yesterday and apparently has dropped down to the low 2,000’s to spite me.

Yay…?

In any case, it’s another easy reason to celebrate, and celebrate we must! So, we’re giving away a copy of Cultured Code’s Things App to one lucky winner!

I personally think this app is a beautiful piece of software and if you’re a task management person, you’ve gotta try this thing out. And if not, you probably could use some more organization in your life anyways…

All you gotta do is comment below and tell someone to subscribe to this blog! Tweet it out and get an extra “ticket” to win!

Why? Because I have another goal for the next 1,000. You see, it took about 5 months and 16 days to go from 2,000 to 3,000. So, here’s the deal:

  • If we break 4,000 RSS by the end of March, we’ll give away a 2 Netbooks!
  • If we break 4,000 RSS by the end of April, we’ll give away 1 Netbook!
  • If we break 4,000 RSS by the end of May, we’ll give away 0 Netbooks! (Haha. We’ll give a Flip Mino HD)
  • If we break 4,000 RSS by June, I’ll laugh at myself uncontrollably for 5 minutes.
  • Just kidding. We’ll have something to give away (we always do).

Cool? Right on.

And finally, of course, thanks to YOU our readers and community. Blogging is so much fun with you guys around.

  1. Hey why so exclusive with the giveaways? {meaning…ignoring the majority of your audience which is PC based!}

  2. That's awesome John! Everyone should subscribe to this blog!

  5. Sweet stuff, John. Good job.

    <gripe>Mac-only software</gripe> =)

    • FINE. … what windows giveaway that's comparable?

      • There is none, so I'd say that before you give away Mac apps, give away some Macs ;)

  6. You'll be at 4,000 soon enough!

  7. Keep up the great content. And winning the software would be a good thing too! Hah!

  8. Thanks for the comp!

  9. wow, that is very cool.
let the word go out, and fast.
what's the prize if 4K comes out next month? :)

  10. I'm with Phillip – what happens if you hit 4,000 in February? Or, better yet, before January ends?

Anyways, keep up the great work.

    • Impossible…!!!

But, how about a new MacBook.

  18. OH,"I'm sooooo Excited, and I just can't hide it!!" (singing it out this morning the way Elizabeth did on saved by the bell…except, I'm not on drugs, I promise.) For realZ, I love prizes and awards and competitions!! Whoop woop! I was never a cheerleader, but I was definitely the "big-boned" girl on the front row of the stadium, trying my best at all the cheer moves. So I'm giving my best cheer for you today, mixed with strange over-clapping for your RSS accomplishments. I just wrote an article recently about RSS, called "I'm RSSing you my friend." http://jennblog.com/post/528 – BECAUSE most of my audience are local southern U.S.-er's who are like what the…what?? when I talk about tech stuff. I'm in teaching/training mode these days. So I just recommended u to my 300 twtr followers and 1200 true best friends, (LOL) on facebook…and I'm definitely waiving my hand in the audience like a crazy lady, and even if I get a t-shirt in the end, I'm cool with that. :) Happy RSS-ventures.
