As much as I may love and cherish Wordpress as my hybrid-CMS of choice, I’ll never be dogmatic about it.

The fact is that the best CMS for a ministry is the one that fits their particular needs. Period. So you’ve got choices, and that’s a good thing.

Concrete5 just announced their released their Open Source version to the public and I’d have to say that it’s worth a peek, especially if you’re looking for something as super easy as WYSIWYG editing. Check the video for an example.

What Concrete5 really brings to the table is an easy to manage and clickable interface with context menu-driven structures to construct your pages.

Administrations is easy as working with your typical Wordpress build. Version tracking with your templating system is sweet, auto-installationg for a few elements, Google Analytics and other metric package support, etc.

A couple of clicks and your up.

You can pay them to set it up and they also provide hosting if you want to sport that route.
