  1. This is something that can already be done with a baked in Google Chrome feature. While on a website you want to make a desktop app go to the page icon in the top right of chrome and then click on the “create application shortcut”. Voila!

  2. Cool. I’m assuming that you can share these apps with friends & co-workers too right?

  3. that’s hawt…already scheming…

  4. wow, great info. Doing it now for google reader

  5. sweet action! Thanks for sharing!

  6. Is this feature available for PC as well? I knew about Fluid App’s, which since I have a mac are all I really need.

  7. Prism! Heck yeah. Going old school!

Also, for Mac, check out Fluid App. Lots of custom options and the developer is still really responsive and active. (He’s @itod on Twitter.)

  8. Cranked up the volume full on both the video, and my computer itself, and it’s really hard to make out the audio. Probably just me, however, would it be possible to do a step by step written tutorial? Thanks!!!

  9. So for some reason the Prism link is down, and your link is right cause I googled it and found the same URL. Anyway, there is a firefox addon that will make this just a one click deal, in case that sounded too hard for anyone. Thanks for the video though.
