From what I gather you can order anything you’d like.

But here’s a sweet idea that I had: Let’s all buy the same book and have a group blogging project, courtesy of Catalyst West!

The Plan – Go Get Seth Godin’s Tribes

So, here’s the plan.

Let’s all call Catalyst West and ask them to ship us (you) a copy of Seth Godin’s book Tribes. Then, leave a comment below sharing with us that you are getting the book and that you’d like to participate in the Group Blogging Project.

If we get enough people interested in doing it then we’ll launch our Group Blogging Project on Tribes and have tons and tons of fun!

Ok. So, I Ordered. … Now What?

tribe_seth_godinA Group Blogging Project is where we’re going to read through a book together and use our blogs as mediums for communicating our findings, what we’ve learned, and to encourage each other through online fellowship around a book.

Think of it as a “Digital Book Club.”

Once everyone get’s their copy, I’ll organize the bloggers who are interested into focused chapter groups to blog about a specific chapter of the book and to lead the conversation on their blogs.

We’ll all take turns until the entire book is completely read! By reading through it together we’ll better be able to grasp the concepts, build community among ourselves, and it’ll also increase visiblity and traffic to your blog (that’s a good thing!).

So, go for it. Ask Catalyst West to send you a copy of “Tribes” and then let me know that you’re good to go!

    Audible.com was giving away the audio version of Tribes a while back. I just looked at is is still there. If you want the audio version you can get it here. http://tinyurl.com/5v8pks

    I assume you will have to create an account to get it.

    I called and got a message saying everyone at Catalyst was in a meeting. lol I guess I'll call back tomorrow. Does anyone know if you have to go to Catalyst to get a book? If not, I'll get Tribes and do try the group blogging project.
