Google Adds Web Elements, Makes Life Easier

Google has always done a good job of making things easy for their users and is perhaps one of the defining differences between them and Facebook (and many others).

You see, Facebook has an open API and gives a number of ways to customize their applications like Facebook Connect, but only until recently has it been easy to get installed; they used to drive traffic to a Wiki-environment for step-by-step instructions.

Google, on the other hand, creates things like their new Google Web Elements page and makes it as simple as possible to add rich features.

So check a few of them out (many you already know about) and feel relieved that it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to get this stuff up on your pages.
