Google Moderator, a simple and effective tool for discovering the best questions to be asked, was once a smaller side project built by Taliver Heath and is now live.

Taliver describes the product as such:

I designed a tool in my 20% time that would allow anyone attending a tech talk to submit a question, and then give other participants a way to vote on whether or not that question should be asked. This way, the most popular and relevant questions would rise to the top so that the presenter or the moderator of an event could run the discussion more efficiently and in a transparent manner.

It looks like it’s a simple and easy to use application and does appear to have some very obvious uses for ministries.  I remember at one particular Presbyterian Church that I was a member of long ago that some of our Committee meetings and open Congregational meetings sometimes went for hours upon hours with little organization and management of questions.  It would have been nice to have this tool.

One of the downsides to this particular tool appears to be that you must have a google account to ask a question.
