Google Wants To Make Your Website Faster with Page Speed

Google’s Page Speed is an open source plugin for Firefox that helps webmasters (and bloggers) to evaluate their performance and get tips on how to improve it.

I’ve typically used Yahoo’s YSlow for testing but it’s always good to have an alternative source and perspective.

There’s never a reason not to try to increase the speed and load time of your web pages; the faster the better.
