MediaSocial.tv – New Community and Video Platform – Internet Campus in a Box?

And that’s all folks. I’ve got nothing more to share except the home page screenshot, but if it looks as yummy as the capture then I’m stoked.
MediaSocial.tv might be a great new platform for you to check out.
- Mobile Integration
- Live Online Help
- Private and Group Chat
- Facebook and Twitter Integration
- Broadcasting Media, HD(?)
- Notes, Events
- Custom Banding
- Online Donations
- CMS-like management
- Invite and Share options
- More…?
Sounds like an “Internet Campus” in a box, right?
***UPDATE***
MediaSocial has responded via email. This is what they have said:
We have had a tremendous response to this new technology and wanted to address some general questions.
WHEN WILL IT BE AVAILABLE?
The technology is complete and MediaSocial (beta) will go live the second week of July 2009. We are now scheduling new launches with clients for September and later.
IS THIS LIKE MOGULUS/LIVE STREAM?
This is a live event player but it is NOT a live stream like Mogulus. The player is built to deliver a pre-recorded event. This allows for a high-quality picture and sound experience. Phase two will incorporate a lower quality, fully live stream.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
The setup price of Media Social starts at $2500 and scales from there depending on the client’s level if customization, design elements, and expected usage. Economical streaming solutions also apply depending on the number of users.
HOW CAN I GET MORE INFORMATION?
We will continue to add information to www.MediaSocial.tv
Thank you for your interest in MediaSocial.

Gonna try it out. Submitted my info.
very interesting!!
Have i ever told you i really like your blog look?
not till now : ) – thanks.
of course – i like yours better.
Cool. I inquired for more info…..and put you as my reference….although I kind of have this feeling like it'll be out of my price range…..sigh…..fingers crossed.
maybe they'll give it away for free.
Free and open source or plug-in type abilities would melt my face.
that would be super fly!
mmm it's a "plain Jane studio solution" which doesn't have that "free" ring to it…
But it's never to much to hope! Maybe someone can figure out how to plug-n-play host one of these. (not THIS one, but something similar
that would be fly.
This is the sort of thing I have been longing for. Thanks for the tip!
sure thing!
wondering if you really built this in your free time John but aren't telling us.
no……………. i wouldn't do that…
i knew u blogged about it…just couldn't find it…
