Mr Uptime: Auto-Refresh and a Whole Lot More

If you’re in charge of the “website” for your organization then that means you probably handle the issues when it’s down or inaccessible.

A little tool that I use when my servers go down for my sites and for my organization that I work for is Mr Uptime, a simple firefox extension that auto-refreshes a page (and a whole lot more).

There’s tons of uses for it, so check it out. I’m not a big fan of having a lot of extensions bloat my browser, but this one’s a keeper.

  1. Thanks for posting this. Actually, thanks for including that image, which says it works with Firefox 3.5. I've been using this add-on for a while, but the version on the Mozilla Add-ons website hasn't been updated for Firefox 3.5 (and, therefore, the "Find Updates" button tells me there isn't a new version). I didn't think to look on Pingdom's website for a compatible version.
