Christian mentorship and accountability is one of the most underused spiritual practices in the modern evangelical church, especially the former.  How could we believe that we could possibly manage our spiritual growth without the coaching, guidance, and support of those that have come before us?

Noomii is one such service we could probably take a good look and learn a thing or two.

Noomii is all about “pair coaching” as opposed to “life coaching”.  As they say:

“Big deal” I thought to myself… we can do that through other online mediums; what’s going to make Noomi really stand out here?

But diving deep into the system and learning more revealed much more than a Facebook-gone-life-coaching.  Some really interesting stuff here:

Wow.  That’s some neat stuff that one can definitely not find in Facebook or the like.  It would be great to see something like this be built for the evangelical church.  Can you imagine a place where people could received accountability partners or “spiritual coaches” using the same type of system that Noomii provides?  Add a digital bible, scripture memorization, and spiritual pragmatics, and you’ve got a winner.

I think Noomii has it right on as they say:
