Part of what made has made Google both super frustrating and super rewarding in terms of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is that it’s been something that would have made Winston Churchill blush:

“It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.”

And although he was talking about Russia, he might of well have been talking about Google’s Search Engine monster.

For those that have managed (by trial and error and sheer force of will) to discover how to get amazing page rankings, the resulting feeling has been euphoric of legendary proportions.

For those that have had no clue and have never been able to break the top google-result page #100, it can absolutely destroy an online business and shatter the dreams of even the most stalwart.

Until, perhaps, now.

Google has released their “Official SEO Guide” (in beautiful PDF format I might add) to the public and is something that all ministries and church organizations that are interested in being a more powerful and effective presence on the web should rapidly consume, take note, and apply.

Because you know the rest of the world will.

So go download it here, give it a read, pass it around to the guy (or team) that handles your website and online presence and do your homework.

And remember, SEO is more than just “beating the system” or “understanding the algorithm”… it’s a frame of mind and the way of the web ninja.
