Promote Videos Strategically on YouTube

Posted by John Saddington on Apr 6, 2009

Tony Steward pushed me this info earlier today and I thought it was definitely blog-worthy: You can now promote your YouTube videos by target keyword.

Just take a look at the screenshot below. You’ll see that a simple search for “church” brings LifeChurch’s new video up (also embedded here for Easter-Love!):

You can set a monthly budget for cost and just let the videos ride as you get the gloriously-yummy click-thru’s.

Not a shabby idea, from a business perspective YouTube! It’ll be interesting to see how effective the return on investment is, from the ministry side of things.

Thanks Tony for the headsup! Let’s hope it works out well!

  1. thanks,
video is very close to my heart, so a huge thank you for this one :-)
although I have been using vimeo because youtube keeps 'making' my videos 'unavailable'.
But a really cool video – I will definitely be posting that on my church's blog, and all over the place :-)
