Really Woolly – Online Family Adventures!

At first glance I was honestly going to write this flash-based website off after a hardy ROFLCOPTER but I actually found it quite intriguing.

(Another reason not to judge a website by it’s cover… or initial impression… load time… aesthetic… or general strangeness.)

ReallyWooly.com is an interactive site where parents and kids can learn more about Jesus and the Christian faith via games, videos, live interactive events, and more. You first have to sign up as a “parent” to get access.

really-wooly-profile-optionsAlthough, I’m not completely sold on the idea and I question whether to amount of time and energy invested in developing this type of application is reasonable, the heart-motivation is where it should be.

I imagine that we’ll continue to see even more sites like this in the near future as people (and businesses) realize that we are spending a lot of time online, and especially the next generation.

I, for one, won’t be signing up my daughter for any of these services any time soon because I simply don’t want her crawling the web that much in the first place.

What are your thoughts? Watch this vid for more info:

On a personal sidenote, that Shepherd game is freaking difficult! It took me 4 tries to complete it and was super frustrating!
