RSS Subscription Drive – RSS is Still Awesome!

RSS

It’s that time again to remind you about how awesome RSS is and how awesome it is to subscribe to the ChurchCrunch RSS Feed!

Need a primer on what RSS is? Check out this video:

If you’ve been a reader here for a while and still haven’t started using Google Reader (or any RSS Reader for that matter) then please consider doing it! Here are a few reasons why:

  • It’s a simple way to manage and read the blogs and sites that you visit daily in one place!
  • It can recommend (if you want it to) other content based on your reading habits.
  • It makes it easy to share what you read with friends and family.
  • You can read it even on your mobile device!

So please consider using RSS and subscribing to ChurchCrunch! We’re going to be putting more emphasis in the coming year on the use of the RSS Feed with RSS-Only contests, giveaways, and special content!

For those that have been forever faithful from the beginning, thanks! Please consider telling someone else about ChurchCrunch and how it’s dramatically changed your life (… well… at least made your life a little better).

And don’t forget, if you really want to maximize your Google Reader skills you should check out this post.

Word. Long live RSS…!

There was this one time at bandcamp…when i first started using an rss reader i accidentally started 2 accounts…one on gooreader and one on bloglines…some people were intrigued and so i blogged about it as a "strategy"…until one day someone told me that was lame(ahem) and i flipped to gooreader-the end…
