Sunday Special QA No. 26

It’s that time again…! Sunday’s a good day to take it easy.
I’ve decided that on Sundays I’m not going to do any blogging except for a very simple post series called “The Sunday Special” where you get to ask me anything.
You can ask about me about web technology, Wordpress, blogging, what I ate for breakfast… whatever.
I can’t promise that I’ll answer all of your questions, but feel free to answer each other’s questions as well.
I’ll try to answer all the questions throughout the coming week.
Simple enough, right? Go.

How did you come up with the name M!lk Engine?
I came up with the idea like this:
Me: I like engineering. I think like that a lot.
Sue: I like milk. You should have some milk in there.
Me: Ok…
… honestly, it was kinda like that.
What do you think the next "big thing" will be for churches and reaching the lost? (my view on the time-line to date is: small churches -> non-denominational churches -> mega churches -> small groups -> multi-site churches -> internet/virtual campuses). Another way to phrase this questions is: How will the church innovate in the near future as God uses us to reach people for Him?
honestly i'm not sure. i think we will continue to innovate at the smaller-level, contextually instead of universally.
What do you do when you aren’t programming, tweeting or blogging?
is there anything else in life?
thinking of creative ideas, spending time with my daughter and wife.
What other medium sized church tech blogs exist?
there's a bunch… maybe i should share a list… good blog post idea!
What are some good programs that you can put one update in – and it updates a majority of your social networks? Can't seem to find a good desktop tool for Mac on that.
well, do you use ping.fm?
First question… How do I know you’ll answer this question if you didn’t answer my simple, yet heartfelt question from last Sunday? (just kidding, I’ve moved on)
Second question… How do you find such a wide variety of images for your posts? Do you worry about copyrights on them?
Fake John Saddington does these Sunday posts. He admitted to being a [dramatic finger quoting action] robot a few weeks back.
Maybe we should talk about spec work or politics. You know, hijack this bad boy.
… GTFO!
all my images that i use are free to use under license of attritribution. i've used a few paid photos too!
