The ‘13,000′ Comment Contest

We are close to the 13,000th Comment here on ChurchCrunch, and if you didn’t know, the number 13 is my favorite number.

I also like the numbers 10 and 3 which *gasp* add up to 13…!

So, in light of all that fabulous arithmetic, I’m going to have 3 winners who will each get copies of all 4 of these Wordpress Themes:

  1. Simple Pastor Wordpress Theme
  2. Pink My Ride Wordpress Theme
  3. iCampus Pastor Wordpress Theme
  4. Online Community Pastor Wordpress Theme

All you have to do is be the 13,000th commenter… or the 13,001… or the 13,002…!

    I was going to leave a comment for you on the GPL post, but I’ll put it here instead. :)

    I’m mostly an end-user, but I know enough code that I am a Big fan of the Open-source stuff. I have Wordpress blogs everywhere and recently took over our church’s website and moved it to wordpress (it hadn’t been touched in over a year).

    Anyway, I really enjoyed your comparison to the Open Source movement of the church. I couldn’t put my finger on what I’m supposed to be doing in my local church, but this seemed to be a good description. Thanks for writing out what was just beyond me.

    My Pastor actually asked me to re-design (I didn't do the current incarnation which I think is ugly but never had the heart to tell him) his blog using the iCampus Wordpress theme.

    I'd love a copy, so I can look at the code when people ask questions on the forum. There ya have it.

    P.S. if this is after the 13k mark, can I go back and delete my old comments until it becomes 13k? nah kidding.
