My brother and good friend did it. He shut the thing down.

Ragamuffinsoul.com has closed shop. For how long? Who knows. But it’s the right move. It’s the right thing to do. And when he’s ready or when the Spirit confirms that it’s the right time to return, he’ll be back.

At ChurchCrunch we cover a lot of “new beginning” in terms of technology, application, and development. We don’t cover nearly as much of the “triumphs” of the Spirit of God in the lives of men’s hearts as He challenges us to turn it all off.

Carlos has always preached to all of us the deep need of true authenticity with the way we do worship, engage with our Creator God, with each other, and with ourselves. By extension, he’s challenged all of us to seriously consider the impact of web technology and being real.

We’ve been blessed to have Carlos among us and we’ve all been touched by the work that God has done through him. I’d love to see more of this happen, not just with others but with myself.

We’ll see you on the flip-side. Much love.

  1. [sad] [happy] nostalgic…It's all good.

    • it is. it is all good.

      • it's like when my favorite tv show gets cancelled. i learn a lot hanging over there. it caused me to evaluate. i actually unsubscribe when he made the initial announcement. i went back this morning and poked around the embers. God's doing some huge stuff in my heart and life at the moment and trying to capture it in my blog net is turning out to be harder than I thought.

  2. To follow the promptings of the Spirit, one can ask for no more.

  3. dude. i'm right with you.

  4. I have not been following ragamuffinsoul for long, but it is still sad – no matter which way you cut it.

  6. RIP Ragamuffin Soul.

I'm confident Carlos will make a triumphant return with some new online venture. He's got too much talent and online street cred to pass it up. Besides, it's in his blood now. :)

    • oh, he'll be coming back. ;)
