I'm part of the team at Fairhaven Church that put all that together, and I just wanted to say thanks for all the positive comments and thanks John, for blogging about it. You couldn't have expressed our intentions any better than you put it, "You Invest in What You Value."

Great video. The expectation has a potential to generate a lot of pressure on the prospective director of communication… but I guess it's ok since they are looking for and apparently willing to invest on the right thing. Thanks for sharing it.

Very smart idea. I really think this is an important need inside churches.
The church my parents attend do not have this and it is obvious. They often misprint stuff, do not communicate with events and the staff never respond to emails. This is a very important thing

funny how that little video can speak powerfully of this truth, "you invest in what you value". Something I have been really hammering down in my life lately and making sure that my time & effort is not wasted on things with no value. Thanks for sharing.
