YouVersion Tip – Special Reading View

YouVersion’s got somewhat of an “easter egg” if you hold down control + option + l on YouVersion.com.

Here’s the before and after:

As you can see, the trick blacks out everything except the reading area. This is great for people who are easily distracted (like me).

On a personal sidenote, these small user experience additions really make me smile. It takes it to that next level of thinking about the end-user and making their needs matter. Most people wouldn’t have ever thought that they needed this but a good software business anticipates needs besides responding to them.

This can make all the difference.
